Delivery & Charges

We're constantly looking for the best delivery options, but our preferred courier is DPD.

All orders place before 1pm are dispatched the same day.

Please see our checkout page for the current delivery charges. We do not mark up the cost of delivery so as our rates changes, so will the cost of delivery.

Delivery Restrictions and International Addresses

At this time, we ship orders within the United Kingdom Mainland, including Northern Ireland and Channel Islands. International deliveries are available for a selection of destinations. Please review our Delivery page for a current list.

What types of payment method do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal.

Can I cancel or change my order?

We are committed to getting your order to you as soon as possible. Therefore after your order is placed, it immediately goes into the fulfilment process, and you may not be able to cancel or adjust the order.

Please contact us as soon as possible on 0845 2700 217 if you need to amend your order.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy with every Chatham product you purchase. If you'd like to return an item you've purchased, please do it within 28 days of receiving the goods.

We provide free UK Mainland returns via Yodel. For more detail contact us on 0845 2700 217 or visit www.yodel.co.uk/returns/chatham. For those outside the UK mainland please return the goods to our Exeter warehouse address which is visible in the bottom right of every page.

Please return footwear in the original shoe box as well as your order's packing slip. If you do not have a packing slip do please include a covering letter with all necessary details.

Please allow a minimum of 14 days for your return to be processed. A credit should appear against your original payment method.;

We cannot give a refund for merchandise returned after the 28-day period.

If you suspect there to be a fault with an item you've purchased and returned, one of our Quality Managers will need to inspect your item. Once they've completed their analysis, we will be in touch to organize an appropriate solution. 

Are moccasin constructed deck shoes waterproof?

The short answer is no. When footwear is moccasin constructed they're super durable, keep their shape, and fit great. The down side is that this involves stitching the leather upper through the sole unit using waxed cable thread. This means that there are small spaces in between the thread where water is sometimes able to permeate. All our shoes are handstitched so they are unique and will react differently to water from pair to pair.

Care of Shoes

Your shoes will love you more if you look after them. Our shiny and new soft pebble leather should be gently wiped with a damp cloth and then waxed with an appropriate wax. Our Nubucks can be lightly cleaned with a wire brush or emery paper and lightly sprayed with a clear wax.

Washable shoes

Our washable shoes can be hand washed, or machine washed on the coolest setting, with a mild detergent, ideally a liquid one. For machine washing shoes should be protected by a pillow case or similar washing bag. They should be air dried, not in a machine or on a radiator and will retain their shape better if stuffed with a non-staining fabric or shoe trees. Colour will lighten slightly after lots of washes, but the shoes will be comfortable friends for years.

Suspected faulty goods

If you suspect there to be a fault with an item you've purchased and returned, one of our Quality Managers will need to inspect your item. Once they've completed their analysis, we will be in touch to organize an appropriate solution.
